Spatchcock poussain with Sambal Oelek

	Tonight I am experimenting
I got a nice poussain, that had already been spatchcocked. Although thats dead simple to do yourself.
For the marinade, one or two garlic cloves bashed with some sea salt spread on the chicken. Then some generous spoons of Sambal Oelek spread over the skin. ...

Fresh horseradish

I can’t find fresh horseradish in Cheltenham at all.
Pretty stupid really, our national dish is roast beef and we can’t even buy fresh horseradish in a supermarket. Annoying.
If anyone knows where to buy it let me know

Parsley

I love using parsley as a salad leaf.
Just made a small salad / salsa with lots of chopped fresh tomato and a big bunch of parsely. Olive oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper.
Parsley and lemon work so well together.

Cheese Olympics in Cheltenham

Ok I must admit to being a bit thick. My previous cheese week post was very under researched.
The main focs of this cheese week is bloody Cheltenham, about 2 mins from where I live.
	See BBC link here.
Good luck to the local cheese makers up for awards.

Jamie Olivers polenta recipe.

This was the recipe he did for polenta on Richard and Judy.
I am not a big fan of polenta. And to be honest I was a bit disappointed again. It was ok but I think I over salted it a little.
We had it as a base then a piece ...
